About the Foundation

Mission

The Hudson Valley National Foundation was established by Hudson Valley Bank in 1981 to support worthwhile not-for-profit organizations and projects in the communities served by the Bank. To date, the Foundation has distributed more than $6.5 million to hundreds of organizations and projects benefiting youth groups, hospitals, churches, schools, the handicapped, homeless, cultural institutions and more throughout the Metropolitan area. The foundation raises funds each year through a series of events, including golf outings, a Tennis for Charity Night, Night at the Races and through donations from businesses and individuals. With most administrative costs borne by Hudson Valley Bank, the Foundation donates nearly 100 percent of the funds it raises to charity.
